SOMEC is a Corvette driving club, first and foremost! it was bult into our DNA at its inception. To organize, plan and hold Corvette caravans, allowing members to journey together to enjoyable destinations and to visit cool places of interest. All the while being surrounded by fellow Corvette enthusiasts.

When you register for an event, it is our reasonable expectation that one of two things is going to happen 100% of the time.
You come out and hopefully enjoy the event as planned, OR if for some reason you are unable to make it to that event, you contact us prior to the event taking place, letting us know that something has come up and you will not be attending. Preferably within a 24–48-hour window prior to the event date!
We get it, plans change, and unexpected things come up. But the expectation of having the courtesy of communicating to us your changed plans doesn’t ever change!
Being a "No Call-No Show" is unacceptable behavior, as this may leave other members to not be able to attend an event! Something we absolutely detest and will not continue to tolerate!

Members from Both SONHC & SOMEC came together to enjoy a Sunday afternoon on the beautiful grounds of the Castle in the Clouds Estate. Click on the link below to see some of the pictures from our visit that day!

What an Event! Days later we are still drained from the emotions and exceitement of our visit! It was truly an honor to be able to spend some time around these incredibly giving and loving staff members and volunteers and of course the stars of the show, the puppers! This is one that will def be on next years schedule and for years to come.

A Beautiful Sunday early afternoon was the backdrop for a return visit to the Airfield Cafe in Hampton, NH. A place that never dissapoints! Enjoying an outdoor lunch as planes take off and land just a few hundred feet away add's a little more enjoyment to the meal.

Rain? what rain. A few hearty members elected to ignore the forecast, and just go with their intuition for the return visit up to the Maine Botanical Gardens. They were rewarded with a mostly dry visit to this magical place. Rain on the ride home doesn't really count!

Unfortunately, we are cancelling this coming Sunday;s Kanc Caravan event due to the pending weather forecast.
